Trade and Tech High School
As the first public high school to place an emphasis on teaching trades this school was a influentuial force in helping Milwaukee become a major city. Before this, trades were only learned by methods such as; apprenticeships, from fathers, or by trial and error. This allowed students to enter the work force right after high school with much more experience than they would have typically had when they joined the work force

Tewelse Seed Co. Building
Once the home of most of the industrial and manufacturing companies in Milwaukee in the late nineteenth century, the area saw a reduction in jobs and density throughout the past century. While most vacated buildings were torn down, some were reposed to find a better way to serve the community. One building is the Tewelse Seed Co. building. Once the company closed it's doors, the building was renovated to become an apartment building.

Movida
When looking as businesses like Movida, some may see that it is not merely a bar and restaurant but actually a catalysts to attract people and business to the neighborhood and show that growth in the area is inevitable. Through the transformation of historic industrial buildings that make up the majority of the lots in the area, it can be assumed that more shared investment from residents and those that see the area’s potential will continue this upward trend.

LaCage Nite Club
While currently known as a night club apart of the LGBTQ+ community, the building itself is similar to the rest of Walker's Point, changing witch cultural and economic trends.
